10 year old Pomeranian, hasn't touched her food in 2 days.

My dog candy thats about 10 years old hasn't been eating any of her food for the past two days, and she hasn't really been drinking any water. But she is still playful when she isn't tired and nothing seems wrong but she just smells her food and doesn't touch it. I don't know what to do it seems like she knows we are bring in another dog, which is her sister, can that be connected to anything??

Dehydration

Don't let her get dehydated for any reason. The same thing happend to my pom and we almost lost him.
Take her to the vet ASAP. They will provide you with medication to get her metabolism back on track. I would offer her water mix with a couple of tsp of Chicken broth. or mix her dog food with water just to see if she will consume it. If not, take to a vet. I did and my dog got better again. Right now, I can't get him to drink his water byitsel I have to mix it with something or he will not drink. If you have any tips for me let me know, please? Thanks!!

10 yr old Pom

Our 10 yr old Pom Gizmo is very picky about the food he eats. When he isn't feeling well, he will only drink water. Right now he is having trouble getting up and walking. We know he has arthritis and is getting stiff in his hips. All he wants to do is lay around on his little bed. This came on a couple of months ago. I took him to the vet and he has been on glucosamine and anti-inflammatory supplements since that time. He does not like the anti-inflammatory so I will have to call the vet and try something else. If you have any other suggestions let me know. Thanks.
