12 yo Female Pom Peeing in House

My 12 yo female pom has ben potty trained her whole life. Recently, she has been peeing large puddles in the house and most of the time without asking to go out.

She lays around a lot, but I figured this was due to older age. I have not noticed any other obvious symptoms.

Kidney Disease?

Make sure that they do Blood test on her. I just lost my 12 years old Pom due to Kidney Disease and she has the same problem.

Probably a urinary tract infection. Needs anitibiotics.

12 yr female peeing in house

We have a 15 year old male pom who has had a few accidents, he will pee right next to you then go outside and look around like he was supposed to do something. We travel weekends and he goes to work so I think he might get confused sometimes when he is a little tired. Dont worry too much unless she stops eating and drinking. People tend to put animals down for little things due to advice from vets and others who may not value the companionship of their loyal friends.

Update...

I took her in and they found blood in her urine. We then had a sono done to see if there was a problem in the uterus, but everything looked ok there. She is not acting sick, but my main concern is that this may be a kidney problem.??
