2 Yr old Pom

I have a 2 yr old Pom we recently moved, and now he is peeing in the house and hides when he knows we are getting ready to leave so I cant put im in his crate. He had his own bedroom in our other house and would just go in there when we left. He only pees in the house when we arent there, but he can hold it during the day when we put him in his crate. The other day he chewed on the carpet (never done that before) Help please. I dont want to have to give him up but I cant have a dog that does things in the house!
