2 yr Pom Acting Strange

I have a 2 yr female pom that has just recently started to act strange. I went away for 3 days and since I have been back she has been carrying a certain chew toy EVERYWHERE she goes and will whine here and there. My dad looks after her and I have left her before with him and this has never happened so I don't think it was because I left her. She is kennel trained and everytime i turn around she is now in her kennel. She has taken a couple stuffies and brought them into her kennel and i really have to convince her to come out. She is still really friendly and doesn't seem depressed for she will still play and cuddle and everything. She just seems different..
