Hi There,
My little Gina has been throwing up for just over 3 days but only at night time when we are sleeping. she will wake up and throw up, last night was just water but before that it was solid, like when your really sick. last week she went for surgery to get her baby teeth out as they weren't falling off. i have put her on strict diet of only her dry biscuits and she will only eat if i feed them to her. she is drinking water. i don't know what to do should i take her to the vet?
thank you

Thank you Debbie

Dear Debbie thank you. I took her to the hospital that very day.
She had a bad case of gastritis. there is a new drug (injection) thats out there for Poms (small puppies) after the injection if she doesnt throw up for 24 hours its a good sign. I had to place her on a strict diet of boiled chicken only. using the brooth of the chicken by adding a lil salt and a lil sugar she will get her electrolytes back. then feed her a small amount of chicken every hour. only treat allowed is a raw chicken neck. after 4 days she is back to her old self. i hope this information will assist you should your pomeranian go through the same thing. thank you.

vet
by: Debbie

I would definitely take her to the vet. She will get dehydrated and that can cause kidney damage.
