adopted/sick Pom

Hi, I adopted a beautiful little girl (6 lb, 5 yr old )on 12-2-11. I took her home from the pound while she was still very sedated from surgery. When she really woke up the next day she seemed ok, very scared, nervous as I am sure she had spent the last week in Hell.. Anyway took her for a checkup on Monday. Vet gave her Hydrocodine, and antibiotics for Kennel Cough. Tuesday she started having siezure like symptoms, falling over like she was drunk, coughing like crazy, tail down, won't come out of the crate, not even going pee. Took her off meds on Wed morn and new vet on Thursday morn.New Vet gave new antibiotics and said def keep off the codeine. She was prob allergic. Now is Sat, Siezures are still happening, just falls over while she is coughing, stares straight ahead and wont move for a few minutes, then goes immediateley to hide in crate, also found worms in her stool last night..

I have a male pom ( 6lb 7 yr old) so worried about them both now..Cant afford to much more in vet bills.. Anyone heard of these symptoms before or have suggestions?
