Advice on Getting Another Puppy

Hi,

I currently have a Yorkie / Foxie cross. He is 11 and has Addison's disease, a condition which he is on chronic meds for. he is a very protecive and jealous of my attention. Due to his disease, the vet has said that we should ensure that he does not get stressed as it will make his condition worse. I love him so much and don't want to bring another little one into the house if it is going to cause problems. We also have an adult Belgian Shepard, a female. Jasper and Lola get along well as Jasper is "the dominant" male.

So we are considering bringing in a female Yorkie into our home and I found a Yoranian 10 week old female at a shelter. We may adopt her but I have wanted to do my homework before we make the commitment.

Please will you let me know what the female yoranian temprament is like in general. We have little children in our home often and also entertain a lot. We don't want a dog that barks a lot at strangers and we don't want a dog that will fight with our other dogs or snap at children.

Please let me know what your thoughts are.
