Australian Shepherd/Pomeranian

Baylor

Baylor

We got our aussie pom from a lady who bred poms and had an Australian Shepherd female house pet. The male pom must have been pretty determined! The litter consisted of 3 or 4 black pups with small brown markings and then there is our dog Baylor. He is copper color with a pom tail, weighs 20 pounds and is smart as a whip. He is the easiest dog to train that I have ever seen.

Our Aussie Pom had a full size pure bred Australian Shepherd mother and a Pure bred Pomeranian father. Baylor is 4 years old now and weighs about 25 pounds. He is the smartest dog ever!!

short muzzle vs long.

As a pup, how do you know the difference between the pups that will grow to have short muzzles and the ones that will grow to have longer ones?

breeding

I am interested in breeding poms and aussies too, but I do not prefer the mini aussie so would there be effective breeding if I were to adopt a normal size aussie and a normal sized pom? Also which one should be male and which one should be female?

You asked if my dog was on this site; yes she is. Her name is Michaela and she is Pom/Sheltie mix. I put the picture of her dancing on the site. Let me know if you see it.

Thank you Aunt Anne. You should put Trixie on here since she is half Pomeranian and half long hair chihuahua.
