Bear

Pomchis are PERFECT!! I love my little guy- he's 3.5 yrs, 5 lbs, and a ball of energy- I love everything from his curled up "peacock" tail, to his dainty little prancer feet! He's chocolate and tan, and sweet as could be. He loves to go for walks and runs as fast as he can when he's off leash (in an enclosed area of course!) I love the way he prances too when he walks or trots! He follows me everywhere, and would spend all day curled up in bed with me if he could! Bear also has a big sister who's a 60lb pittie, but Bear is definitely the dominate one! My mom loved little Bearsie so much, that she went and got 2 pomchis of her own!

Pomchis are super loving, and easily spoiled! They are great lap-dogs, but also love adventure- Bear loves going for car rides and getting his "sniffs" in out of the window, but he also likes to just curl up in the passenger seat and take a nap!

Things to watch for:

They are small dogs, so be CAREFUL not to overfeed!! They love to beg for food and are SO cute it's sometimes hard to resist, but it really is for their own good! both of my mom's pomchis also have very sensitive stomachs, another reason to watch the junk/human food intake!

Pomchis, like most little dogs have very small bladders- so you'll probably always use pee-pads, unless you can be home every 3 hours or so to let them out!

DON'T EVER LEAVE YOUR POMCHI OUTSIDE UNATTENDED!!! Again, these pups are small- smaller even than a wild rabbit- making them the perfect target for a hawk or other bird of prey flying overhead- Be sure to always be watching your little one!
