Bitzie Girl

Bitzie is a really cute little Pom-Pug mix. I just happened upon her while looking for a companion for our Bichon who suffered a spinal chord injury and is paralyzed in his hind quarters. She was so tiny when we first got her. Only 12 weeks old. She now weighs in at 14 pounds(a little too heavy the vet says). Just turned three years last month. We just love her to no end and back.

Diet for Bitzie

Bitzie is inclined to gain weight. Our vet suggested we mix in green beans in her food. She loves them. Will eat carrots, beets and peas.
Her main diet is Hill's Science Diet Dry and canned(light diet). Loves nuts,(peanut, pecans and pistachios.) No walnuts!
Just a few tips on keeping your little one healthy.

Bitzie-Pug Pom

What a sweet little girl. I think my pom mix has gained weight since I got him, but he sure loves human food. Looks at me when I give him dog food like, "What? I'm supposed to eat that?" If he doesn't eat it, the other two will be happy to get it. Geez.
