Can 4 months old Pom male impregnate his 2 years old sister?

Dear All,

I am in such panic and kind of mad at myself. First of all I am a pomeranian lover and I would never have wanted this to happen. I have a pom girl who's just 2 years old and who's in heat right now. Last month I got her little brother (from the same parents, a year apart) and I wanted to have fixed as soon as possible to avoid accidents. I am against spaying the girls since it can be very intrusive and my former puppy died after a dreadful procedure 2 years ago.

Anyway the vet told me to wait until my male pom was at least 6 months old. But today I caught my dogs stuck with each other. It took one minute of inattention and BANG!

I am away with them on vacations right now and please if you have any advice please let me know...
Can he get his sister pregnant at only 4 months? And if yes, should I terminate the pregnancy (with having to spay my girl)? I am concerned by the fact that they are siblings. I am afraid that if they have puppies they may have problems.

Please advise.

i don't know that you would want to, or even could sell them as registered pups, and i am by no means an expert, but i had a dog who had a litter and her "son" heaven forbid got her pregant, the puppies were in perfect health, and as sweet as could be. you may want to call and ask your vet for advice though. Best of luck to u.
