the dog's eyes drain and leave a hard residue on its snout which requires cleaning and removing with water and a cotton ball twice a week. Is this normal? Is this treatment correct?
Our dog has this same thing. The vet says the tear ducts get clogged or are not large enough to drain well.He said he could do a surgery to flush them but there is no guarentee that it would help or be a permanent solution to the problem. Best bet he said was just to clean them as you are doing and that is that. Good luck with your dog....enjoy him...Mary
