Concerns about my new puppy

Hi. I'm a first time pomeranian owner. Dolly is two and a half months old, she was a bit sick from deworming when I picked her up. She was a little tired, scared and unsettled the first day I had her. But she had been through plenty, so I put her in her dog bed and left her alone to rest. I kept checking on her, quietly talking to her. She was fine, eating and going potty. She was fine through the night, she didn't make a sound or leave her bed. She has been eating and drinking, and regularly going potty. But she won't leave her bed. She will barely get out of it to eat, but she hasn't gone potty in it. She has been going on newspaper I set out for that purpose. (its very cold outside at the moment)She isn't afraid of me, I sit beside her bed and talk to her, I've tried to encourage her to come out of it. When I take her out of her bed, even if she's within sight of it, she will stand in that spot and cry. I'm not sure if this is just normal for a new puppy, or if this is something I need to worry about. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is definitely not normal in a puppy. Puppies are very curious and are usually venturing into things. More importantly socialization is an important part of the puppy stage. Puppies who are not socialized tend to have other behavioral problems. You MUST talk to your vet. There may also be something madically wrong with your puppy and that is the reason why it behaves that way.

This behavior is not normal for any puppy. Take her to the vet immediately. She could have a broken bone or something internal. I wouldn't wait for this to pass on it's own.
