My pom-boy had a slipped disc last week so we took him to the vet. He got a steroid shot and we've been protecting him (as much as possible) from jumping and reinjuring himself. Within about 5 days of the shot we had to take a trip. The next day he had "explosive" diarrhea. he's had it now for about 5 days. The doggy kaopectate helps a bit but hasn't stopped it. I noticed last night he has a prolapsed rectum too. My question is would the steroid shot have started the diarrhea?
