Do pomeranians have weak bladders?

When my dog gets really excited she tends to urinate. Especially when people come around. It's become kind of an issue. Is this normal and if so is there anything I can do to prevent it?

my pom does that to me or my boyfriend when we've been away for a few days. its sweet. its only a little puddle and otherwise she's very good. it's just out of excitement
