Found D in the classifieds...the lady said he was a full pom....but he isn't. I am not sure what he is mixed with.....fox? sheltie? haha

I have a jackaranian on another page on here, Teddy Bear in Renton. He looks kind of like him only a bit bigger overall. Ted is about 20 lbs. When he gets groomed they are very similar. Have you thought about DNA testing him? Your vet can do it, or I think there is a kit you can get in the mail. Our vet did it on out 120 lb labrador we got from the humane society. We wouldn't get anything else from them, but we are glad we got him. The test can detect everything except for tiny blips in the DNA chain or whatever. Toby is a purebred lab, much to our disbelief as we thought he was part great dane. The only sure way to know what your baby is is to test his blood.

i think your dog is so handsome and chearful
he is so good looking, I too fell for your dog he is so adoreable I hope I too can get a dog like yours. bee happy with him. i just lost my dog just like him 15days ago. he was with me for 5years but got lost while he went for a walk. you dog remind me of my tomy.

does anyone know if there are potential health problems with the pom and sheltie mix? I know that "small" shelties can potentially have more health issues.. anyone familiar with cons of the mix breed?

Definitely not full blood

I have a Sheltie/Pom Mix (Posh)and yours looks a whole lot like mine. I have wondered about cutting mines hair, but have not talked to anyone who has cut a Pom's hair. Mine has the hair of a Pom,the size of a sheltie, and attitude of a Pom. Good luck with your dog. He is cute.

He reminds me of my Sheltie/Pom mix. I think they are called Poshie's but whatever they are called mine is so sweet. Her name is Michaela and she'll dance and spin around. I see both in my dog, sheltie and pom; Mine has a little more fluffy fur than yours but he sure is cute.
