Found a Pregnant Pomeranian

52 days ago I found a female Pomeranian. Little did I know at the time that she was pregnant. I have never had dogs before so I guess I didn't figure out she could possibly be pregnant until about a week ago. I guess since I don't know when she got pregnant her time could be coming any day now to have the puppies. I built her a really nice whelping box but I am really nervous because the vet said he thought she was between 6 and 8 (he didn't know she was pregnant at the time either). I am open to any and all advice about how to care for her and the puppies as this is new to me. I have been researching everything I can but I want every bit of information I can so I don't have any surprises. I don't think she has more then 2 puppies inside what I can tell at least, and I have know clue what breed the father is.

If you don't know how far along she is one thing is you should check her temperature twice a day for now on good temp for a pom is about 101 to 102.5 fahrenheit when it drops Below 100 she should go into labour within 24 hours I have a 4 year old pom she had a litter of 3 went totally fine pups are all grown up and in happy homes. Another good thing is to feed her cooked chicken good for protien, also when she has had the pups watch for milk fever it is when the pups take all the nutreints out of her and she could get very sick but it is very rare.
