Grooming/Hair Cutting

My daughter has a 6-7 month Pomeranian. She took the dog to the groomers to have it's nails clipped but they made an error and cut/buzzed most of the pup's fur off.
At what age should a dog's fur get cut?
Is there a foreseeable problem on the regrowth of the dog's hair?
Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Yup its fine! I cut mine to look like a lion and the hair always grows back sweet as! but, i just keep cutting it back every 4-6 weeks. The hair always grows back just the same as before with no differences in colour change or growth pattern.

Hi there. My little one had the same problem when she was 5 months old but I'm happy to say she's had no problem growing the fur back. She's now 9 months old and you'd never know it happened.I've had my Prada's hair around her eyes trimmed a couple of times so far...it seems to help with her eyes watering but I'm not sure if there's really a set time for having their hair cut.You might check with the breeder, they usually have some pretty good advice on things like that.Hope this was useful to you.
