Gurgi

by Helen
(Barker, NY, USA)

my son and his wife (air force) was stationed in alaska when he purchased gurgi. When he was transfered and could no longer keep him he wanted him to have a good home. At the time I was diagnosed with cancer. My son flew Gurgi to us in Buffalo NY. It was supposed to be temporary. He got off the plane a snarling tasmanian devil. But we fell in love. He laid by me and was a great comfort to me during my cancer treatment. Weve had him 3 years now. Theres no way hes going anywhere. He isa real lap dog, loves attention. Wont let anyone near "MOMMY".! Hes very intelligent but also has a mind of his own/we live in the country and he loves running through the fields. Hes a real sporty feisty country type dog but stuck in a frou frou body. People have told me hes the most beautiful dog they've ever seen. Except when his beautiful coat is full of mud and burrs-keeping him groomed is a little work but worth it. His coat is so soft and gorgeous! We have another dog, a lab and they get along great. will upload a photo soon.

Beautiful

Your dog is beautiful. I'll bet keeping him groomed is a chore but well worth is. He looks spoiled. My husband got me a Calico kitten when I was ending my cancer treatments over 12 years ago. I still have her and named her Charity since he got her for me out of love. I also have a Pom/Sheltie mix breed that grew to be 12 pounds. She is a sable brown color and so loving and attentive. She is a bit jelous of the cat but they tolerate each other. You keep loving on that beautiful dog.

He looks like my Rags (a Pomino) only Rags is gray with a few streaks of white in his tail and muzzle. So cute.
