My wife brought this little puff ball home about 6 months ago and she was about 8 weeks old.

I have owned and trained several large dogs from pit-bulls to labs and really didn't think I would ever want a small dog. I must admit i have grown very attached to this little critter. She is very smart and loves attention, having already learned to speak, sit, lay down and shake hands as well as playing fetch, she has made a great companion. Greatest difficulty has been housebreaking but we are seeing progress. She also responds to many other voice commands.

As with training any dog, patience and affection work far better than fear or pain. She knows when we become angry with her but also knows that we won't hurt her. Has her own personality and can be somewhat aloof. She tries to talk to us by growling real low and listens to our voices like she is trying her best to understand everything we are saying. She does understand quite a bit.
