how can I stop my 8 month old pomeranian barking when left alone?

I have an eight month old pomeranian and we have trained her not to bark ( well only the occasional bark) but never excessively, however when she is left home alone she will and does bark for hours on end. we don't know how to stop her, any ideas?

Our Pom is 14 months old and still barks when left alone. We have installed a counter radio to keep him company, but it works only here and there. Any assistance out there in cyberspace?
