How do I stop a BAD abusive breeder?

We have rescued two older female poms from a breeder who didn't want them anymore. it took weeks to get them out of their fear of people. They were living in horrible conditions, outside 24x7, green water to drink, they were infested with ticks. This person breeds and sells HUNDREDS of pom pups each year, how can I stop her? She also does her own SURGERIES on these poms!

We have no pom rescue that I could find in Arizona, I don't know what to do but this woman must be stopped. Animal control has been to her place several times. My vet has tried to get her shut down. Her property has a HIGH block fence and you can only get in to see the animals by entering through her home. It is like a Nazi concentration camp in her yard, please give us any suggestions.

OMG!

I went throught the same thing I drove really far to buy my baby pom and I was horrified to find out she had holes in her head with fleas living under her skin!! I gave her a two baths everyday that week to get it all out and that wasn't enough I had to shave my pom puppy and I had to buy her clothes because she was shivering and the clothes were too big so I had to alter them. This angered me so much I called animal control in her area I told them every single detail. I told them she burries the puppies that die in her yard and she had a all white gorgeos pom that she revealed to me she was amazed he was still alive because all of his teeth fell out. Oh, I was so angry! Her property was also very private with a very very long narrow road all the way up to her home. She had four litters covered in fleas!

If you contact the local police, and report to the animal abuse in that neighborhood, they will do an investigation, but be aware, if there are sick animals and the city pound or animal shelters are kill facilities, they will put the sick ones down instead of saving them. YOU can leave notices online, and around the neighborhood stating only facts, it is not slander if you can prove it, take pictures, video for proof. Get your local neighborhood watch on board or any of the neighborhood animal awareness groups in your area. They can picket and they can make others aware of what is going on with the woman and at her house. As long as you don't slander or harass her directly, you should be able to get her shut down. (call your local police to make sure what you are doing is legal, they may help or stay out of your way - animal abuse is against the law!) Good luck,I will pray for you dear, luvnhugs, Sheila

I would even try contacting your local television station and see if they would be willing to do a story on this breeder. It's so great that you're trying to stop this. What is wrong with these people?!
