huge pom

My 23 month old pom weighs 13lbs. the vet said she is healthy, just big. we don't over feed her. any opinions?

pom sizes

the original poms were around 30 pounds.
Man has bred them smaller and smaller because we like them that size.
Genes have their way though and in my grooming shop, I see them upwards of 20 o\pounds at times.
Reputable breeders try to keep them under 7 pounds, but there are so many backyard breeders out there just breeding any dog to any dog, and you never know what you will get, unless you buy your pup from smeone that shows, and stops breeding any dog that produces an oversized one.

possibly not a full breed

Possibly your pomeranian isn't full pomeranian. Where did you buy your pomeranian? The first pomeranian I had, was 11 lbs. I got him from a pet store, something I'll never do again. The pomeranian, I have now, she's 6 lbs. I got her from a breeder.
