Hugo

Hugo is a 7 month old Yoranian, and he is our first live in dog. He's very, very friendly, and loves to be around people all the time. Definitely a character--when he runs it's almost more of a skip or gallop and since he loves to be around you all the time it's really funny how he tries and tries to jump onto the couch to be with you. He is a little protective and will bark when he feels/hears scary noises or strangers, but he is very loving when he sees new people are friendly. Having a little bit of trouble potty training him, but it's not such a hassle since he's so small, and we had to get him a collar with a bell on it since he's so small and quite easy to miss otherwise if you're not paying attention. Overall, he steals the show every time and my family and I l adore him very much.

Beautiful puppy!!

Your dog is absolutely beautiful...I just got a one about 4 days ago. He looks almost the same as yours but his hair is longer and very fluffy...He is just 9 weeks old. he is full of energy and he is also so very smart. he opens his mouth when I'm talking to him as if he is trying to speak to me..lol...when I extend my hands out to him to hold him he puts his paw out lol...he looks like a little fat fox and when he walks his back end almost wobbles...it's too cute...I love him so much already... Also, my son bought a bell for my dog as well and he does not like it...I thought the collar would be a good idea to prepare him for walks...but after reading the feedback on your page I think I may reconsider the use of the bell..at least until he is a bit older..he really hates it and starts whining whenever I put it on him...

Bell
by: Bianca

Well it's not just me. I have three brothers, parents, friends, my brother's friends, cousins, and other family members over all the time. So i think it's a small price to pay for his safety. B/c my brothers are not small people, all over 6 foot and in football, they have no sense of awareness! And I have a charm bracelet that jingles when i wear it and move and it seriously doesn't bother me. So thanks for the criticism/compliment though!

Did you ever think how it would feel to hear a bell tinkling every step YOU took? Give the dog a little time to get used to being around you and you will not need the bell any longer. The dog will learn your moves and will stay out from underfoot. Then get rid of the bell. It worked for me. Your dog sounds like mine..we call it a "prance" when he runs or walks. So cute ..isn't it. You have a beautiful dog. Hope you enjoy him for many years...Mary

Your dog is just precious. I definitly see the Yorkie in him. What a precious dog. I have a 1/2 pom 1/2 sheltie and she is very precious to me. It took my dog over 2 years to be able to jump up on the couch or our bed. She just couldn't seem to jump but yet when she runs she does the same you mention, a gallop and a leap. Just so precious.
