I had a pomeranian a few years ago. She suddenly started to get these "lesions" all over. Literally, holes in her body. The vet did not know what it was and she had to be put down. The only answer the vet could give us, was that it MIGHT be cancer. Does anyone have any idea what it could have been? And is it common among pomeranians? Thank You.

LESIONS

The lesions could of been a form of horse flies that lay their eggs in the skin of the dog and once they lay their eggs and they hatch they become a larva which will break throw the dogs skin and feed off the existing whole until they grow into horse flies happened with my dog vet took car of it and squised the egg sack until it popped and the larvae came out. she had cuts for awhile but the hair grew back .
