Ivory Ann

Ivory Ann is the ideal pet! She is nearly four years young. We obtained her from a breeder while surfing for a pom. We had just lost our 14 year old Keeshond (which is a cousin to the pom and a wonderful wonderful breed) and wanted a smaller version of a Keeshond. When we came across this little puppy, whose face looked like that of a baby seal, we were sold. What an ideal pet, well, person-like critter is she. Now, every dog owner claims their dog is very smart, but this breed REALLY is smart. Scary smart. Ivory Ann breezed through behavior, tricks and agility training. She was the fastest dog in the agility classes she was in - like a bolt of white zipping through the course. Best of all, she is a very loving and sweet little thing and she likes nothing better than to be petted and cherished. This breed is so cute and interesting in appearance that strangers we come upon are always asking us what breed she is. We could not be happy with our choice of breed. Ivory Ann loves babies, kids, adults and cats. She is very people oriented and loves to talk (check her out on the video I posted in youtube - The Talking Weeranian). This dog loves latex squeeky toys and is putting us in the poor house with two of the small smiley face ones each day because she goes for the squeeker inside immediately. She retrieves the toys and gets her exercise running up and down the long halls and stairways of the house. She does not require much exercise although I am sure she would enjoy more than I have time to give her. I really enjoyed reading each of the posting on this site and the great photos! I plan to continue to check in on it and look at the other weeranians and marvel in how adorable they each are.
