I don't know how big your puppy is now or if you are still having problems. We adopted our dog and the shelter gave us a great suggestion for boys. You wrap a disposable baby diaper around the tummy and cover his you know what. If he goes while in the house you will know. You will also have to get odor remover to get the urine smells out of your house or the dog will continue to use your house as his toilet. Good luck!

I have a yorkie, and an porkie (pom and yorkie) and I had to watch them both like a hawk. Walked them on a leash, even though my yard is fenced, and praised them to high freakin' heaven when they went, and watched them in the house and if I seen them try to go I would scold them harshly. I also used a kennel when I left the house in the beginning. Seemed to be the right approach. My oldest is just one year old, and I can leave them in the house for over 7 hours(not that I regularly do), and they will not use the bathroom. They are dying to go when I get home, but they are well trained.

Potty training. by: Charmaine
Hi.Don't worry too much about the toilet training right now with your little one being so small. It takes longer for these little ones to be trained than large breed dogs.My little Prada is 9 months old and still has an accident every now and again.I have found it easier with the warm weather.Just stick with it and try not to become frustrated when they have an oopsie. It'll come.
