Just brought him home

So I just brought my Pom, Punk, home today. He's kinda nervous but I expected that, he was rambunctious for awhile and ran around the house till I went to work. My mom let him out of the crate for awhile and he ran around some more while i was working, but now he's just kinda laying around. I've been home for almost 6 hours now and he doesn't want to play at all. He watches everyone and he wags his tail now and again, but I can't help being worried. Am I just being silly about this and he's just nervous?
