Keela and Roxy

Our first little yoranian was RoxyAnn who passed last July, at 16. We now have little KeelaMarie who just turned 1,in May. Both these girls... little sweethearts! VERY smart, playful, energetic and loving. Roxy at 16 still looked and acted like a puppy. Alike in some ways and also very different. Both always smelling good, never body odor. Great fur that never tangles. Both play hard and long. Keela goes crazy over balls but Roxy didn't care for them. She liked only soft toys and never chewed up anything. Keela likes all toys, but will chew to peices anything but a Kong toy. Roxy rarely barked but Keela is a "talker" (we work everyday with the barking issue!) Roxy's fur was apricot and grew practically to the floor. She had to be trimmed regularly, but she never shedded. Keela's fur is medium length, black with some white. She sheds, but never has to be trimmed. Roxy was protective and dominated all other animals and peoples (if they'd let her). She was choosey about her friends. Keela thinks EVERYONE is for her to play with. She loves everybody. Both like to play "mean dog" growling and shaking their toys. Both love belly rubs and going for car rides in the car seat. We still miss RoxyAnn. Keela did not take her place but filled the empty void. Keela constantly entertains us and keeps us busy. We love her, just as we did little Roxy, which was so very, very much!
