Kneading

My toy pom, Jamey is now 3 months old and an absolute joy to us. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the continuous chewing on my hands or feet. They really do take a beating from his sharp milk teeth - he has tons of toys to play with, but will always come back to bite my hands.
The other curious thing he loves doing is to gather his blue blanket in a bunch and then "knead" it like a kitten would do if it has been taken away from its mom too early. It is the strangest thing. It unfortunately does not stop there. After doing this for a few minutes, he moves on to "Humping" the mound of blanket...what is he trying to do? Is it sexual or just dominance?
