Kramer Susan

I had a Pomapoo. He actually just passed yesterday morning at the age of 10 years, 6 months and 18 days. He was the love of my life and I can't stop crying. I have read all kinds of stuff on the internet about the passing of pets and how their soul stays around and I believe it's true. I just wish I could hold him again and love him again, walk him again, feed him, give him a bath, etc... He was the best dog ever and the most sincerest. He loved his mamma so much!

I understand
by: Wendy

I lost my Yorkie Pomeranian 3 days ago. He was almost 16 years old and I've been crying ever since. My face is raw and chapped. I'm a mess. I can't believe he's gone. I've done the exact same thing as you. I've been searching the internet for posts about the loss of a pet. I made a photo collage of him with the Rainbow Bridge poem on it and took it to his vet for them to memorialize him with there in the office. Like the saying goes, "it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all...".

Susan, I lost my female Pomapoo on October 28th 2010, She died in my arms and there isn't a day that goes by that I dont think of her. She was 15 years old. She was one of the best dogs I have ever had....she loved to be loved, and she loved to give it back. Sounds as if we had 2 of the same kind of dogs with the same kind of disposition. A year prior to that I went and bought "her" a shipoo puppy, and that made her pep up some and that little puppy laid with her all the time. When my Peewee passed, our little one Bella, was heart broken, she moped around the house for days. We are all trying to get along with out our Peewee, and some day I will see her again at Rainbow Bridge. If you haven't had the chance to read the Rainbow Bridge poem, please do. You will know you will see him again.......

AMEN
by: Sheila

Aw sweetie my heart feels your pain. Yes, they are innocent and God did not give them a soul to judge, they never had to make wrong or right decisions, they were meant to make humans a companion and to teach humans how to be gentle, responsible and kind. YOU passed God's test, your precious furbaby will be waiting for you on the other side one day. I know you probably cant imagine sharing your life now with another but if you could there are so many out there NOW needing YOU NOW, that will die a horrible death if not given love and rescued and a chance to live. Do not mourn sadly for your baby,\; you made a good life for your furbaby. Instead treasure that memory and rescue another, maybe one similar, or opposite, whatever, so many rescues to choose from. You will never replace your baby, but you can be a blessing to another! Think about it, and I will pray your sorrow goes quickly, maybe hugging another on death row will help ease your loss honey. God bless U,Sheila - here if you need a hug or an ear!

Oh im so sorry for your loss. I swear these little dogs are angels and they do hang around until we are okay with their passing. I have a trues story for you...Its funny because when my 17 year old pup daisy passed, I went to see JohnEdward's show (pyschic medium)it was over 100 people there and I was hoping to hear from family from the other side...guess who came through....my passed relative holding my dog Daisy...clear as day...he even said her name!
They definetely are in heaven watching us..take comfort in knowing this my friend...I hope your pain eases by knowing this.

sympathy
by: Mary

You definately have my sympathy. I have not yet lost a dog but my older one is 13 and I can see her slowing and deteriorating in the last couple months. I can't even bear to think of the time that is coming. I am lucky that I have another dog that is only 5 years old. This may help to ease the pain when the time comes. I also worry about how the loss will affect the younger one as the two are inseperable. I do advise for you to reach out to another dog to give your love. Your previous pet would not want you to be unhappy and grieving so hard. It would want for you to be happy as you were. Good luck to you and I shall pray for you to find comfort.
