left rear leg raising???

I have a 1 year old, 10 lb. chi-pom...really sweet dog with great disposition, good health, very energetic and playful, but a bit of a finicky eater. When we are playing on the floor, she will often back around, raise her left rear leg as if to kick, but more often just leave it up in the air or rest it on you. Has anyone seen this behavior? Is it just a play thing or some kind of mating ritual??? It is sometimes a bit embarrassing when she behaves this way with a friend!

Pom Chi raising leg

My 2 year old Pom-Chi raises his right leg sometimes when running.He has always done it. Doesn't seem to be hurt and I mark it up to another crazy little thing he does like his walking on front legs after pooping.

My 1 year old pom was raising her left leg every once and a while, then started limping a bit on it. I took her to the vet and they diagnosed her with a luxating patella where her knee cap would pop out of place. There are different grades of severity, and we had to have surgery on both her back legs to correct this.

Same thing

My year old male pom does the same thing, I even took him to the vet because I thought he may have hurt his rear leg, but they could not find anything wrong. He still does in on occasion and I still have no explanation on why.
