Lucky came into our lives as a rescue. He is a very loving and affectionate homebody of a dog. Would much rather be in the house with the family than outside running around.

Very protective,great watchdog. Also rather dominant he will challenge any dog no matter what size, if they are near "his" home or property. Any where else, he could care less.

People often ask what kind of dog he is. And almost always mention how beautiful he is.

He is a lot bigger than what you description shows.
He weighs about 34 lbs. Trust me he isn't fat.
He lean and very strong for his size.

Down side, he had issues with calcium stones in his bladder and urethra which were corrected with surgery. He is now on a special diet and doing very well.

He is 11 years old now and most people think he is still a puppy...who really does smile when he is happy.

Deepest sympathy

I am so sorry to here about Lucky, that is one of the hardest things to do. My previous dog had seizures also, very difficult to watch.

Beloved Lucky

We lost our beloved Lucky tonight. He had a seizure earlier today,like he has had from time to time. But this was different. He appeared to be paralyzed. He would not recover as he usually did in less than an hour. He would not or could not walk. We took him to the emergency Vet. They were not too optimistic. They said they wanted to keep him. and run all kinds of tests.None of which would be really definitive. We could see he was nervous and scared and he was shaking. We decided to decline and thought he would be more comfortable at home. They gave him a shot for pain in case they thought he could have injured his spine when he seized, We took home.
We watched him for hours he was less and less responsive. Wouldn't really sleep, just a glassy stare.
He was deteriorating before our eyes. We could not let him continue to suffer.
We returned to the Vet where knew we we had no choice but to do what we had to do,
because we loved our beautiful little boy.
We held in our arms when he went to his final rest.

We love you Lucky, you gave us years of love and joy.

Lucky is beautiful, I also have a pomimo named Coco-puff, he weighs 22 pounds. People always comment on how beautiful he is and what kind of dog is he?

That Lucky weighs 34 lbs. My English Cocker Spaniel weighs 33. I never saw a pom with a pink nose and eye area in a light buff. Glad you love Lucky!
