Lucy the Pomeranian _x_ fill in the blank mix

This is Lucy. I got her off of Craigslist. She is the sweetest little dog you will ever meet. I've never had a dog that just wants to make her owner happy like Lucy. In the picture below she is four months old. When I first got her she was very shy and timid and didn't really wag her little tail. Now she's 9 months old, very outgoing, friendly and wags her tail all the time. She loves people and other dogs. She has a problem with her left front paw that I've been trying to get fixed but so far a vet hasn't been able to identify the issue. Because of this she has seen six different vets in the last two months. They all seem to agree that she is part pom part herding dog but none of them seem to agree on the type of herding dog. I did have a pom breeder tell me that some breeders try to mix poms with mini aussie shepards and pass them off as pure bred blue merle poms so maybe that's what happened with Lucy. Does anyone have a pom mix that looks like her and if so what is it?

Hey, I have a min pin pomeranian mix and everyone thinks she is a cattle dog because she has the blue merle pattern. I have seen both the parents and the pomeranian was merle in color. I will have to show you a photo of her if I can figure it out. If you google blue merle pineranian she should be up there because I posted her. She looks somewhat like your dog in size with the curly tail. I also recently just took in a pomeranian whatever mix dad was a pom and mom was who knows what. Just know that poms can have some weird colors. If you google blue merle pomeranians you will know what I am talking about. I highly doubt your dog has any herding dog in it.

get a DNA test for dogs done and you will know the breeds that are in Lucy. It is really easy and so informative. Go online or ask your vet. Good luck to you and Lucy..

In my post I forgot to include her weight. She weighs just under 18 pounds right now and she is 9 months old.
