Lucy

(Phoenix, Az. )
Typically when Lucy is standing her tail is curled up and over her back in Pomeranian fashion. She weighs a whopping 6 pounds.
I got Lucy when she was a year old, I was lucky and she came to me very well trained. Lucy is very polite and well mannered. Her former owner felt that Lucy required too much attention but would not give her to just anyone, as I live alone and my children are grown she felt that I could give Lucy the home she deserved. I can not share any insight on how her training went but I can tell you that she does not beg, and is house broken though I am looking into litter box training. Lucy was not allowed on the furniture by her previous owner but I allow her on the furniture and I think it helps us bond.
Lucy loves to be petted, give kisses and sleeping on my down comforter - she will share the comforter only because she has no choice.
Grooming is my biggest challenge, as you can see Lucy has the Pomeranian body and Yorkie fur, she is prone to matting just under her ears.
Lucy is good about only chewing her chew toys but if I forget to put some in the bedroom she will find my knitting to play with.
Lucy is generally quiet and mellow but she has her moments where she wants to play fetch and just be center stage.
I've wanted a dog like Lucy all my life, now that I have her I plan on enjoying every minute with her.
