The Maltipom - A Maltese Pomeranian Mix

The Maltipom is a mix between the Maltese and the Pomeranian, and is also known as the Pomanees. These cute litle dogs usually weigh between 3 to 9 pounds, and are 8 - 12 inches tall.

They may be white, beige, orange, red, brown or black in color, with a long coat that may be either puffy or silky in texture. Daily brushing is needed to keep their coat looking its best, with an occasional bath.

Pomeranian Maltese mixes are intelligent, alert, and loving, although they do their best in homes without children or other pets.

Gentle training and moderate exercise will keep the Maltese Pomeranian mix behaving and feeling its best.

Life expectancy is about 15 years.
