McDuff-chihuahua mother and pom father

We just lost our beloved McDuff. This was the sweetest and smartest dog we have ever owned. His memory was amazing. If he went outside to use the bathroom and took his chewie, he would remember not long after and whine at the door to go get it. Or we would ask him where his chewie was if he was coming inside and he would turn around and go get it. He used the puppy pad when we weren't home to let him out. He knew all our names and would go get one of us from another room if you asked him to. He went with us everywhere, even when we went to the lake on our boat. He would float around on the wakeboard while we swam. I took him to school (I am a primary teacher) and he would run and chase sticks for the children.He went to all my children's soccer games. Almost everyone in our small town knew Duffy. He was absolutely wonderful except for one thing-he had no fear of cars. He ran out into the street chasing a squirrel, was hit,and died instantly. We had him for a wonderful six years, and miss him so much. We will get another pomchi to love, who will be different from Duff, I know, but who will have those sweet and loyal pomchi traits.
