My 5 month Pom has gone off his food

My 5 month male Pom, Coco, is fed twice daily, once in the morning and then late afternoon. We changed his food (after consultation with the vet) about a month ago to Hills Science Plan when we thought his existing food was making him gassy. He loved his new food but the last couple of days he isnt so keen to eat it, we never give him any human food though. This morning when we got him out of his crate although he was as perky and hyper as ever we noticed strange grumbling sounds coming from his tummy, however his stools are solid and normal and he seems okay in himself, but when we put his food down he wasnt interested. Is this normal? Any suggestions for what we should do?
