I have a 5 month old pom and have had the same problem at first i put it down to stress of moving. He has been to the vets and have eventually discovered he is very sensitive to some foods. I have changed to Royal canin and it has worked a treat :) Also as they are very little and can be very sensitive to some foods avoid giving tip bits. Be careful doing your own research on the net as i found that lots of digestion problems often present themselves with similar symptoms, leaving you worried sick.Your vet should be able to advice you on best solution if its a sensitive digestion problem and not infection.
Hope this has helped :)

Hi there,

my 3 month old pom had bloody diarrhea and after a stool analysis the vet determined it was Giardia, a parasite. Just because your vet ruled out Parvo doesn't mean it is not something else. I would consider going to another vet for a second opinion as it is not good if your puppy continues to have bloody stool.
