My Pomeranian is pregnant...I think.

I bred my 2.5 yr old pom with another pure bred male of about 1 yr old. We followed the text books and everything seemed to be very normal. We had them both checked out at the vet and the breeding took place on two different days during her "fertile" period (Dec. 6th and 9th). Within a few days, the signs of pregnancy were all there but she did act a bit puny during weeks 3-5. I did some reading and figured it was the usual pregnancy issues...finicky about food, somewhat lethargic, and a bit whiney.
Then, a couple of days ago, she had a tiny bit of diarrhea (2 episodes of small amounts) which I thought was from food we were told to prepare for her. It was puppy food with a tablespoon of cottage cheese mixed in. Then, a couple of days later, she started acting perky again. I thought that she was finally over her week 4-5 pregnancy slump but now her tummy seems to have gone down a little and so has her weight. Her appetite seems to be back and she still has the pregnancy signs but I am not sure if I should be worried that she has lost a pup either by starvation or illness or what I should expect at this stage of the game.
I have made a vet appointment for her but in the mean time, any advice or wisdom that you can share with me would be greatly appreciated.
