Tips to Help You Name Your Pomeranian Puppy

• Choose a name that suits your dog's personality and behavior.


• Short names make it easier to train your dog.


• One or two syllable names are best, since dogs learn short names more easily.


• Pick a name that’s easy for you to shout - you'll spend a lot of time calling your dog over the course of his lifetime.

• Avoid the 10 most popular dog names. Your dog "Jake" will take off whenever he hears his name, even when he’s not the "Jake" being called.

• Most importantly, pick a name you like! Remember, you’ll spend a lot of time with your new dog and will call him thousands of times during his lifetime, so have some fun! It may take a while to find the right name, but keep at it until you're happy with it.
