Natural Flea Prevention

I was told by a lady that I could use a mixture of white vinegar and water to discourage fleas on my Pom. Is this true and what is the formula for the solution?

Vinegar & Water

I haven't heard of that for flea prevention, but it couldn't hurt. 50/50 vinegar and water is a great safe, natural & inexpensive cleaner. It's frequently used for all kinds of cleaning around the house.
