Nikita at 7 weeks old

Our Pomimo Nikita is 8 weeks old and a bundle of energy. Her current pass-time is nipping toes. Our fun is just beginning!!!!!!!

Nikita Update

Nikita is now 4 months old, 6 pounds and has discovered she has a voice!! She is a little spitfire!! She gives out sharp little barks to alert us to people outside the house. She still likes to nip at toes and feet.......I have the scratches to prove it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this behaviour? We are still working at housebreaking........she usually goes all night without an accident, but she likes to mess on the carpet, when no-one is paying attention to her. On Monday she is going to the Vet's to be spayed...maybe that will calm her down a little?????? She is a going concern!!!!!

How can I stop my Pom from biting?

Help!! Nikita is now 12 weeks old, she comes when you call her name and she sits when asked. She is great at using the pee-pad at night and when we are not at home. However she loves to bite at ankles, toes, and pant-cuffs. We have tried squirting the water bottle at her, but she justs sits and opens her mouth to taste the water. We have tried saying NO, giving out a little yelp and trying to divert her attention to a toy, but still to no avail. We have also put her in her room for a time out, so to speak, but she doesn't get the message. I had a purebred standard American Eskimo for nine years and I don't recall going through this with him when he was a puppy! Any suggestions would be most appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!!

Pomimo?

It's called a Pomimo because her dad is a Pomeranian, and her mom is an American Eskimo.
Hence Pom, short form for Pomeranian, and Imo for Eskimo. Hope that clarifies it for you. Thanks!
