Oscar

He is around four and a half months old now and losing his puppy coat fast. Oscar is very loving and super friendly. He nips a little from time to time but is improving fast. We are expecting a baby in January and are not sure how Oscar is going to handle things, but the signs are good.

Oscar has a lot of access to my young nephews and niece and absolutely loves playing with them as do they. We have found Oscar keen to learn but is not keen on going for walks from the house, but is happy to walk on the route back towards the house. We usually need to put him in the car and drive him somewhere to get the best out of him on walks.

I love the idea of a doggy cart Mary, I might get a few looks from the Neighbours but as long as Oscar is happy. Dogs are most certainly ace. :)

I got a 3 wheeled bike for taking the dogs on what we call "run-run". When I say "Lets go for a run-run" they are jumping to go. If they get tired I have a carpet square in the basket on the back end of the bike and I just sit them in there and they love to ride. You could put yours in there to ride away from the house and then let him on the leash which you which you hold in one hand while holding onto the handlebar. That way both you and the dog get exercise. Works great with mine. I'm sure the dog will get along great with the new baby too. Dogs are great with babies...Good Luck!!...Mary

Adorable Dog

Oscar is an adorable looking puppy. He reminds me of my Michaela who is a Pom/Sheltie mix breed. Michaela also has the black nose. I'm sure he will make a wonderful pet and will welcome the new baby as well. Aren't dogs GREAT!
