Personality change

I have a 2 yr old Pom that was not in a very good home when I got her. She was never given her shots or proper dr. visits, etc. Due to that, she is now having seizures, probably was having them in her old home as well. I have been trying to get them under control with the help of our vet since I've had her. She is so loving and always wanted to sit by me on the couch the minute I came home from work. In the past couple of weeks, she is still loving towards me, but spends more time in the living room when she wants to lay down. This just seems so abnormal and I miss that time with her. Have any idea what may be going on?

Maybe your pom is just showing signs of relaxation and starting to feel more at home and enjoying her new freedom and feeling the home is her domain.

My pom/sheltie likes to lay by herself sometimes and then sometimes she lays close to me. Sometimes she even goes to a bedroom and wants to lay under the bed. I think she likes her privacy at times. Silly sounding, I know.
