pom and toys

The pom we got from our Humane Society is 2 yrs. old and he does not want to play with any toy. Is this usual pom behavior?

it all depends on the dog

I think it depends on the dog. I had one pomeranian, who was a male, that loved squeaky toys. I now have a female pomeranian, that doesn't like any dog toys. She'd rather chase after the cats or be cuddled.

Playful Pom

It may be he needs adjusting, someone may have hurt him, taken today away (other animals fighting over what little were around) you can introduce him to cuddle ones, letting him know they are HIS and ONLY HIS

Playing with toys

I think this is pretty uncommon for poms not to want toys. He probably just never learned what to do with toys as a puppy and doesn't understand.
