Pom awake all night and pooping everywhere

Hello,

I recently brought home my new Pomeranian today. She is 8 months old and has been in 3 different homes including mine in the last 2 weeks.

My current problem with her is that she is pooping inside the house. And it's not a solid poo either, its liquidy. (It's very hard to wipe off the carpet and the floor). I'm not sure why she's doing this inside when the 1st owner hasn't had a history with her doing that.

My second problem is that she isin't sleeping throughout the night. She will sleep when I'm visible but she doesn't when she can't see me anymore. It's 5:30am and I haven't gotten any sleep.

Anyway, I tried to put her in her crate with her toys and her bed. I turned off the light and put a night light on and left the room. She then started to whimper. I figured let's not entertain that and go to her cause she's whimpering.. Anyway, she started to whimper very loudly and so of course I couldn't have her waking everyone up. So I decided to check up on her.. She pooped EVERYWHERE in her crate. She had poop on her fur.. it was a mess.

So this resulted to me doing laundry in the middle of the night to clean her bed up.

I then watched her go to sleep and eventually she was so asleep that she couldn't hear me going in my room. This was successful for a couple of hours and she ended up waking up and waking me up because of her whimpering..she also pooed on the carpet again..

What do I do? Please help me... Im so desperate to figure this out..

I would take her to the vet to see if she is sick 1st.If all comes back good with that.Maybe because she has had 3 different homes in the last month she is stressed out..Give it time and all will get better just don't give up and give her away I think once she know's you are in it for the long hall things will turn around:)

My pomapoo had pooping with diarrhea for the first two months that I had her. After several tests and nearly $400 later, we put her on FortiFlora sprinkled into her food. She loves it and the problems are gone. You can get FortiFlora from Amazon.com, but check with your vet to make certain it's not giardia, etc.
Good luck but I think it'll be fine.

First off its NOT NORMAL for a dog, puppy or otherwise to have soft of diarrhea. It's either worms, parasites, or something else, but not normal. Take her to the vet asap. Second, try pad training instead Put pads (several) near her kennel and make sure that her kennel is not too big, so she cannot go potty in it. They usually dont like to lay in their feces unless they are ill. It sounds like your furbaby is ill and needs help.

Also several treats and foods have been again recalled, so you may be feeding her one of those, it's deadly , salmonella poisoning kills the older and young ones, dehydration. Pick up her skin by shoulder - if it snaps back right away, ok; if not , if it lingers and is mushy, she could be dehydrated, and even if they drink and eat they can still be dehydrated. Give her some (about an inch strip) of nutra cal and call your vet hon. Catch it fast and she will be a healthy sweetheart you can train. Dogs that are ill do not listen you cannot train a sick dog. Prayers coming, God bless

pooping liquidy

take the dog to the vet along with a poop sample. It obviously has some kind of virus and also must have cramps when it whines. There has got to be a medical problem to this one.
