My Pom, Taz, lost his hair after his first short hair cut. I always thought the reason for his hair loss was because they cut his hair too short. Where it is thin, his skin has turned black. The remaining hair on his head and lower legs look very healthy. His hair has been gone almost a year now. I have done a lot of research on it and it seems to be that he has "Black Skin Disease." It is a skin condition that can be caused by various things. He is very healthy and happy. Taz has a great personality. Very spoiled, he is my baby and he knows it! I have not asked the vet about it. Is it curable?
