Pomapoo Aggressiveness

My 3 year old male pom a poo is crate trained and we have always put him in the crate when no one is home and at bed time. In the past week, however, he has become very aggressive and has almost attacked my wife and I when prompting him to go in his crate for bed. Any thought would be appreciated. He also sleeps in a dog bed during the day when someone is home.

You need to take him to the vet to see if he is sick or in pain. He could have an infection, an infected cavity, gum, bladder or something in his ears.. Many things could change his temperament like introducing a new member to the household, Removal of a dog door, or any change that would make him feel threatened, but I would always start at the vet for a checkup.
