Pomeranian acting different

My Pomeranian, Ema, is usually a perky little ball of energy, although she is getting closer to 6 years old. But today all of a sudden she started walking with her head down and she ran under a chair. When I put my hand out to her, she would normally lick it, but she just sat there. She acted a little more normal after we fed her, but now she's back to walking with her head down and acting secluded. Then, as I was petting her, she helped out in pain and ran out of the room. She has acted like this once or twice before and now I'm very worried there could be something seriously wrong with her.
